About Me

I live in a small city in Arizona, just North of Tucson. My partner and I moved here after living in the Pacific Northwest. She and I both love the sun and warmth, so even the hot summers are perfect for us. One of our favorite past times is hanging out in our yard observing the menagerie of birds and critters and swimming in our salt water pool. We love the sunsets, and our west facing view affords us a veritable theater in the sky most every evening.

I appreciate nature and the beauty around me every day. I have a unique ability to see the world through a relaxed, often “fuzzy” lens that I express through my artistry.

I normally paint in relaxing tones and in a style that has been characterized as calming or even soothing by some. I express my artistic inspirations using oil on canvas. When painting, I have a wandering and meandering mind that allows me to capture nature in a blended, colorful state of beauty.

In addition to my day job as a strategic sourcing manager, I enjoy exploring and driving my Jeep off-road and continuing my education through the online Art History program at Oxford University. I paint and enjoy life as an artist who loves to get lost in the sky and drift into theta, the slower paced brain waves that allow the mind to rest.
